On April 23rd, 2024 Cornerstone engineers were alerted by internal monitoring tools for latency. Clients hosted in the FRA (EU) PRD SL1 swimlane may have experienced intermittent issues while accessing Learner Home and Career Site.

Cornerstone engineers were engaged for investigation and troubleshooting, and the issue pointed to network issues on a few nodes in the web application cluster. The affected nodes from the cluster were recycled and added back to the cluster.

To mitigate this situation from occurring in the future and to reduce the risk of a future impact Cornerstone is actively working internally to review the incident. Internal discussions have been held with the appropriate teams to avoid the recurrence of this incident.

Resolved
The CSOD Technology Team observed a performance degradation affecting this swimlane. The problem began at 3:30 AM Pacific Time and was resolved at 4:08 AM Pacific Time. During this time, clients with portals on this swimlane may have experienced slow performance or intermittent errors while accessing the application.
