On February 28th, 2024, Cornerstone engineers were alerted by internal monitoring tools for maintenance pages. Clients hosted in US SL2 Prod swimlanes experienced intermittent maintenance pages while accessing their portals.
Cornerstone engineers were engaged for investigation and troubleshooting pointed to a backend service failure of DB Tier. The issue was resolved by rebuild of service gracefully.
To mitigate this situation from occurring in the future and to reduce the risk of a future impact Cornerstone is introducing additional corrective measures. Internal optimisations have been discussed with the appropriate development teams to avoid the recurrence of this incident.
