On March 20th, 2023 Cornerstone engineers were alerted by internal monitoring tools for latency in LAX SL5.
Clients hosted in LAX SL5 Prod swimlane experienced latency on their portal.
Cornerstone Engineers identified a sub-optimal procedure call that was causing higher-than-usual resource consumption.
This procedure call was dropped and recreated to resolve the issue.
To mitigate this situation from occurring in the future and to reduce the risk of a future impact Cornerstone is introducing additional corrective measures. Internal optimizations have been discussed with the appropriate development teams to avoid the recurrence of this incident.
